Founded in 2020, Byrdie Golf Social Wear is a women’s course to cocktail collection that highlights personal style and celebrates the rich tradition of sport and lifestyle. Merging their love for golf and luxury fashion backgrounds, co-founders, Rachelle Wates and Hayden Hendrix set out to create an inviting space into the golf industry through the confidence of clothing.

Now women of all ages and handicaps seek out Byrdie Golf for their feel good, look good, play good approach to the game and lifestyle that surrounds club sport. Designed in Charlotte, NC, Rachelle and Hayden play a round of golf in each design before going into production to ensure each garment is course tested and approved for the 19th hole!

Tell us about your design process!
We have way too much fun when starting a new collection... Most of the time our design
process is very much inspired by what is going on in our life! Designing and selecting the prints is definitely our favorite part and what we spend the most time on as we think that is what sets us apart in the industry. Byrdie has evolved so much and at this point as two first time moms we are designing for the girl on the go who gets up and puts Byrdie on immediately. A simple print,
comfortable fabric and very flattering/easy silhouette that can take you from day to night with style and sophistication.

What’s a fun fact not many people know about you?
Hayden - Designed under Rosie Assoulin, and Marc Jacobs prior to launching Byrdie.
Rachelle - #1 seed on my high school golf team - competitive is an understatement!

When did you know you wanted to be in fashion?
Birth! We were both the daughters that would make our moms film us while we would subject our siblings to styling sessions.

How would you describe the Byrdie woman?
Effortlessly chic, always on the go, and the first one to convince you that a girls trip is a
must because she has outfits she needs to show off!
